Aerosoft Releases Exeter for MSFS

The team at Stairport Sceneries has recently released their rendition of Exeter International Airport (EGTE).

The team at Aerosoft has recently taken to their Facebook page to announce the release of Stairport Sceneries’ rendition of Exeter International (EGTE) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery was developed by Stairport Sceneries and is sold by Aerosoft. Stairport’s biggest product to date is a ground handling plugin for X-Plane.

The scenery is a realistic replica of Exeter Airport. It features all of the basics. Such as PBR textures, and custom static aircraft reflecting the real traffic of the airport. It is, according to the developer, perfectly embedded in the Microsoft Flight Simulator environment. The developers made it compatible with MSFS world update III. This update was released in February 2021 and has improved UK and Ireland.

The team optimized the scenery based on specifications by Microsoft. The product includes a handmade mesh to correct the coastline and a realistic runway slope.

Exeter Airport is located five miles from the city centre. The airport has a 2083-meter-long runway. This is more than sufficient even for larger aircraft types. Ryanair, Aer Lingus, TUI, and Loganair serve this airport.

If you’d like to purchase this scenery, you can do so through Aerosoft for 12.45€. If you wish to learn more about Stairport Sceneries, I suggest you have a look at George’s review of SAM ground service for X-Plane.
