Aerosoft Releases First Update for Twin Otter

Through a post on their forums, Aerosoft’s Mathijs Kok has announced the release of the first update for their just recently released Twin Otter rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developers have listened to initial feedback from the community and reworked both internal and external sounds.

The autopilot has also received some improvements to avoid losing altitude in ALT HOLD and GS HOLD modes. Furthermore, the developers have also added and fixed various knobs and minor modelling issues to ensure a smooth experience with the addon.

Officially referred to as version 1.0.1, the update can be already downloaded through the Aerosoft One client, or alternatively through resellers like SimMarket, in-game Marketplace, and Orbx.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter is a 19 passenger utility aircraft with STOL capabilities, manufactured in Canada. It has a high rate of climb due to its twin turboprop engines, which make this a popular aircraft for both commuting and cargo uses.
