After its reveal at FSExpo 2025, developer Aerosoft has unveiled new information about its upcoming A330 NEO airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The developer has released a website featuring some details about this add-on. Some screenshots of the A330 NEO were also shared by the developer and were posted on this website.
Aerosoft has announced on this website that the A330 NEO will be released sometime in the fall of this year. The precise release date of this add-on has not yet been shared. The release of this add-on will include the A330-900, compatible with both MSFS 2020 and 2024. Aerosoft has confirmed that there is no plan to bring the A330-800 to the simulator.

The developer also listed some of the features coming with the A330 NEO. The aircraft will feature a flight management system built from the ground up with LNAV and VNAV implemented. It will also feature OANS and two independent MCDUs. The A330 NEO will be fully compatible with GSX and will have SimBrief integration with the aircraft’s EFB, allowing the loading of the flight plan and data to the aircraft.

On this website, it was also noted some features that will not be available for this aircraft. A HUD for the aircraft is not planned as a feature for the A330 NEO. The developer also noted that even if this aircraft is compatible with VATSIM or IVAO, some features that facilitate some aircraft maneuvers inside the network will not be ready at release for this add-on.

Aerosoft also shared a small detail regarding the A340 in this round of information. The A340, which Aerosoft is working with ToLiss to develop, will be released after the A330 NEO. The developer also revealed that an update to their A330 CEO add-on is underway. This update will bring the A330 CEO to the same technical standard as the A330 NEO, according to Aerosoft. More information and the full changelog for this update will be released in the future.

Aerosoft also took the opportunity to showcase the aircraft inside the simulator by sharing some pictures. Multiple screenshots showcasing the aircraft’s exterior wearing different liveries were shared. The cabin of the A330 NEO was also showcased in these pictures.
