Aerosoft Shows the Sound Pack of The A330

Mathijs Kok recently went to the Aerosoft Forums to showcase the sounds of the A330

Aerosoft’s project leader Mathijs Kok has taken to the Aerosoft Forums to showcase some new, in this case, audio-visual previews of the upcoming long-haul aircraft Airbus A330.

As per community request, Mathijs has decided to share some sound previews of the aircraft on the Aerosoft YouTube channel. There are two different variations of the sound previewed. The first one shows pure, crystal clear sounds that the Aerosoft audio team created for this aeroplane.

The second one shows the sound pack under the headphone simulation available in Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to Mathijs, this package was done to be as close to Bose A20 as possible, as this is the most common aviation headset used worldwide.

With these previews shared, Aerosoft got itself into some controversy. The team had to address that the sounds are still deep work in progress, and even sounds are subject to change. Many virtual pilots believed that the team forgot to implement the iconic “howl” sound of the RR engine-equipped A330.

Some More A330 Previews

Further down into the forum post, Mathijs also showcased the A330 cockpit and its details again. There are three different images, showing details of the centre pedestal, and the captain’s side of the glare shield.

As of right now, the Aerosft team didn’t share more information of the A330, however, if you want to learn more about this project, make sure to read our other article here.
