The developer Aerosoft has shared some sad news regarding the development of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The cessation of development was announced through their website earlier this week.
Benjamin from Aerosoft stated that this decision has not been made out of the blue, and there are many issues why the development couldn’t continue. The issues include reference gathering, which is essential for a scenery of this complexity. The team also couldn’t allocate resources to the development of their iteration of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG).

On the bright side, the end of the development update states that there is a chance that the development will resume in the future, if the conditions are right. In the meantime, there are two developers working on sceneries of the same airport, which is currently Pilot Experience Sim and AZRSim.
