The first update of the Airbus A340-600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been released approximately two weeks after its initial publication. This update provides the A340-600 pilots with some improvements to the sound aspect of the aircraft and some system enhancements.
The main role of this update is the improvement of sounds, as the Aerosoft team has added the missing sounds of the packs with open doors and rain sounds. The current flap, roll and ground roll sounds have been improved as well.

Moving over to the system part of the update, the waypoint skipping feature has been improved, and there are bug fixes for the pilot data functions, like route saving. Drag and fuel flow have also received improvements at cruise altitude.
For those who use ground services, the door 2L has been prioritised. This now means that the simulator will attach all the needed ground services, like jetways or stairs, to this door. Lastly, the PBR has been improved in the cockpit, which should make the visual experience even more realistic.
