MS/Asobo took to the Microsoft Flight Simulator forums to announce the release of the Aircraft and Avionics Update 3 for the simulator. The latest AAU update from Asobo to fix many underlying issues with the Airbus A300 and A320neo which were developed in collaboration with iniBuilds. The Pilatus PC-6 also receives improvements and fixes.
What’s new in Aircraft and Avionics Update 3?
Most of the changes featured on the A300 and PC-6 appear to be minor when compared to the A320neo. The A300 had an issue where the interior model could not be viewed by other users, another where auto-throttle animations were glitched, and the FMS “prediction” page bearing parameter was set to “true” instead of magnetic. These are some of the issues that have been fixed along with an inclusion of the Pan Am airline livery.
The PC-6 does receive a lot more improvements. Missing tooltips, AI checklist auto-complete issues, dimmers for annunciator lights not working, panel lights not reacting to key inputs, and flickering glass issues around the rear doors are a few of the snags that have been fixed among others. ForceCamera entries to checklists, AI sound XML for the Classic variants, fuel system control valve closed to shutdown checklists, and Radio Magnetic Indicator on Gauge variants have all been added in this update.

Airbus A320neo changes
The Airbus A320neo V2, developed in collaboration with iniBuilds, has received a lot of fixes and quality-of-life additions. MS/Asobo did mention in one of their previous dev streams that their focus this AAU has been on the A320neo V2 and improving it further. Some of the major changes and improvements include the logic of the Flight Directors being adjusted, engine thrust at higher FLX temperatures giving a shorter take-off roll, increased gain control within rotation law for better command rates with minor deflections, and significant improvements to stability in regards to WASM crashes and CTDs (crash-to-desktop).
Many more minor issues have been fixed such as engine sounds being too loud when starting up or shutting down, missing approach procedures, BRK FAN being ineffective, APU fuel burn rate, and the FD pitching too low during take-off. Other improvements have also been added such as the overhaul of the beacon and strobe lights, dome lights not emitting correctly, and a black dot appearing on the windshield when the nose lights are on. Moreover, this new update also finally adds the TERR radar to the aircraft.
