Airfoillabs Releases C172 NG for X-Plane 11

As announced a week ago, Airfoillabs has released a new variant of their famous Cessna 172 recreation for X-Plane 11. Originally recreating the classic C172 SP, this time the decision was to make a new NG new variant. Thus, presenting EVO G1000 systems and making use of newer technologies.

The developers, who like to refer to their products as “study-level”, aimed to bring a whole new level of simulation to the aircraft, which is also substantiated in the feature list.

Comparing it to the previous C172 release from the company, the new variant offers more ground equipment, a brand new 3D model, immersive FMOD sounds, and enhanced flight dynamics.
