Altimeter Motives Reveals New PA28 Panel

At FSExpo 2025, Altimeter Motives formally revealed two new hardware offerings for the flight simulation community: a new Piper PA28 instrument panel, and the next limited-edition version of their Baron 58 cockpit system.

The new PA28 panel is a dedicated unit built for compatibility with Just Flight’s PA28-III Arrow, which ranks as one of the most-used GA aircraft, second only to the Cessna 172. It replicates the layout of key flight instruments and annunciators used in that aircraft type, offering a physical interface for sim pilots seeking to replicate general aviation operations more closely.

The panel uses a matte black acrylic faceplate and features injection-molded bezels for each gauge. It includes a custom version of Air Manager, pre-configured for easy setup, and supports functional knobs and buttons, allowing for full interaction with the virtual cockpit.

The panel is scheduled to go on sale through the company’s website on July 1st, with a listed price of 415 USD, including free shipping within the United States. A limited quantity was made available at FSExpo at what the company described as a substantial show discount.

In parallel with the PA28 announcement, Altimeter Motives also showcased the 2025 limited run of their Baron 58 panel. Only 10 units of this version were made. As with past editions, this product is not sold on the company’s website and is only available through direct purchase at FSExpo. The panel is shown equipped with full instrumentation and operates using Air Manager for software integration.

All Altimeter Motives hardware supports X-Plane 11 and 12, along with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, provided the user is on a Windows PC. According to the company, all products were made available at the expo with the deepest discounts offered all year.

Both new offerings are consistent with the company’s focus on delivering tailored flight panels for high-fidelity simulation, with a clear emphasis on realism, functional control interfaces, and dedicated simulator compatibility.
