Further extending the offering of Italian airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator, AmSim has earlier this week released their rendition of Pisa International Airport (LIRP) for the platform.
Whilst AmSim is not the most renowned development group in the community, they are passionate flight simmers from Armenia developing sceneries of airports throughout Italy, Armenia, Georgia, Portugal and Belarus with a simple goal – support aviation enthusiasts in their country.
AmSim, in their scenery of Pisa Airport, included animated jetways, custom ground textures and markings, custom night lighting, and a detailed main terminal accompanied by fully modelled buildings in the airport’s vicinity.
As seen in the previews, the team did not only detail the terminal from the outside but also modelled the terminal interior with static passengers. What’s more, the team even modelled the interior of the local air traffic control tower.
Pisa Airport (LIRP) is located south of the famous city of Pisa, home of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the local university. It is located on the Western coast of Italy, in Tuscany, on about the same level as Florence or Rimini. The airport is named after Galileo Galilei, a famous scientist born in Pisa, and is shared between the Italian Air Force and civilian flights.
You can buy the scenery from SimMarket for €15.50 with VAT excluded by clicking here.
