Area77 Simulations Announces Vilar de Luz Airfield for MSFS

Portuguese developers, Area77 Simulations, have taken to social media to announce the completion of their Microsoft Flight Simulator project, Vilar de Luz Airfield (LPVL).

Though no fixed date has been given for release, the developers wanted to share just how much work has gone into this project. For a start, all buildings are modelled in super detail, especially the control tower that has interior and exterior modelling. PBR textures have been completed using the simulators graphic capabilities.

Also included are hangers that reflect the time of day, accurate terrain and road tunnels, and points of interest outside the airport. These include a detailed model of the City Hall and Leader’s Tower. The developers have also implemented models of people using the airport. The number of people also reflects the time of day. Area77 also seem to suggest that the local aero club’s liveries are available for the C152, C172 and Piper Aircraft.
