Aviotek Releases Frankfurt for MSFS

The Aviotek team has early this morning released their rendition of Frankfurt International Airport (EDDF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We have reported on the recent release date announcement, and today, the scenery is fully available to everyone for free.

About Avioteks Frankfurt Scenery

Aviotek Simulation Software has already created one Frankfurt Airport scenery for X-Plane back in 2022, and this is their debut product to the Microsoft Flight Simulator market.

The scenery promises to bring a payware-like quality of details across the whole scenery, as the developer completely hand-crafted the airport buildings, textures and minor details.

For better ground operations, Aviotek Software also created custom ground service vehicles, custom animated jetways and even a custom GSX profile for those who use GSX Pro.

Virtual pilots who fly on VATSIM will definitely appreciate the accuracy of this scenery, as there are up-to-date taxiway layouts, apron layouts and taxiway signs.

Aviotek also terraformed the whole surrounding area, as the famous overpass taxiway is modelled properly, there are highway tunnels and a custom terrain profile for the surrounding area.

During the night, the scenery will be lit up by custom-crafted apron night lighting.

The scenery is available via the Orbx Central application completely free of charge.
