Axonos Releases Perth for X-Plane 11

Axonos, formerly known as JustAsia, has today taken to their social networks to announce the release of their long-awaited rendition of Perth Airport (YPPH) for X-Plane 11. The release date was first announced last week through the official Axonos Discord server.

The scenery features, for example, completely custom made buildings, modelled city center, accurate night lighting, the latest airport layout, or 4K PBR texturing and custom animations. The complete feature list can be found below. It was confirmed yesterday, that Axonos has a conversion to MSFS planned, however, no information was shared on that.

This is also the first scenery released that has been developed only by Axonos and not in cooperation with other developers.

The scenery has been now been officially in development for almost a year now. It was first previewed back in late November 2019. Axonos has been quite quiet about the development since December 2019 when the last set of previews was shared.

The scenery can be purchased through SimMarket for €19.20 excluding VAT and has 3.5GB when zipped.

Perth Airport (YPPH) is an international airport serving the capital of Western Australia, Perth. While Perth is the fourth-most populous city in the country, the airport is the fourth busiest airport in Australia by passenger movement. Serving as a hub for many airlines including Qantas, the airport is operating routes to and from the whole world. Probably the most-known flight is the one connecting Perth with London operated by Qantas Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
