Axonos Releases Tokyo Haneda for X-Plane 12

Axonos releases highly detailed Tokyo Haneda Airport scenery for X-Plane 12, featuring custom buildings, terrain, and immersive airport details.

The developer Axonos has released their highly anticipated scenery of Tokyo Haneda International Airport (RJTT) for X-Plane 12. The scenery is now fully available for users of Laminar Research’s platform, with the Microsoft Flight Simulator version coming soon.

Axonos describes this scenery as their most ambitious project, with hundreds of custom buildings and various details. The team promises that nothing in the scenery is left as default, and all aspects are custom. The scenery is laid on a custom terrain mesh, recreating Haneda’s artificial island and an uphill slope. The ground textures are also completely custom, and all textures are created using PBR materials. This scenery of Tokyo Haneda Airport promises a seamless integration into the X-Plane 12 world.

Features

  • Hundreds of custom-modelled buildings and assets — virtually the entire airport is built by hand, with almost nothing left to default. Every terminal, hangar, and structure across Haneda has been recreated for total fidelity
  • Highly accurate custom terrain mesh — faithfully recreating Haneda’s artificial island and the signature uphill slope to the bridge
  • Authentic ground detail — all ramp, vehicle, and apron markings, plus ground signage, modelled with precision
  • Genuine Japanese signage throughout — including real-world ground markings such as “Caution — Jet Blast” and “Stop Here”
  • PBR materials across the entire airport for true-to-life surfaces and lighting response
  • Hand-crafted grunge & weathering that captures the lived-in authenticity of a working hub
  • Fully detailed surroundings — vegetation, rocks, trash bins, and environmental clutter for total immersion
  • Custom night lighting for terminals, hangars, and airport buildings
  • Iconic points of interest modelled in detail, including the Tower of Winds and observation decks
  • Custom-modelled island integration blended seamlessly into the X-Plane 12 world

You can now purchase this scenery through the Axonos website for approximately €23.60. If you would like to read more about Axonos and their work, take a look at the development progress of this Haneda Airport scenery.
