AzurPoly have released the SEPECAT Jaguar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This is their latest aircraft release for MSFS. The developers have previously released aircraft like the C160, OV-10 Bronco and the TB-30 Epsilon.
About the SEPECAT Jaguar
The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British-French supersonic jet originally used by the Royal Air Force and French Air Force. As of 2025, the Jaguar remains in service with the Indian Air Force. The jet was built in the 1960s as a trainer aircraft with ground attack capability. However, this soon changed to include supersonic performance and tactical nuclear strike roles.
A carrier-based variant was also planned but was ultimately cancelled in favour of a fully French-built Super Etendard. The Jaguar was manufactured by SEPECAT, a joint venture with the British Aircraft Corporation and the Breguet. It was one of the first major British-French military aircraft. It has been used in numerous conflicts and operations over the years.
AzurPoly SEPECAT Jaguar
This project is the result of over a year of development and pushing their standards higher. AzurPoly wanted to create an aircraft which brought the most accurate and immersive experience. They also wanted to keep its unique flight characteristics. The community was also in demand for the British GR1 variant which they have developed a complete exterior model for.
Initially designed to be MSFS 2024 native, the team decided to bring it to MSFS 2020 as well after hearing the community’s enthusiasm. The add-on brings both the British GR1 and French Jaguar A variants to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The two models share the same cockpit based on the Jaguar A, but a GR1-specific cockpit may be considered in the future.
A highly detailed 3D model has been created for this aircraft based on a real 3D scan of the Jaguar. Featuring ultra high-resolution textures based on photoscans, modelled ground equipment and static weapons, AzurPoly have recreated the Jaguar in the most accurate detail possible. The add-on also includes 16 liveries with distinct exterior models for each variant.
Custom-made effects have also been made for the Jaguar. This includes engine heat blur, afterburner and wingtip vortices. Wingflex has also been given a faithful animation, and the cockpit is fully animated and functional. There is an interactive checklist with copilot actions and many custom systems, all built into this add-on.
