BlueBird posted a quick development update for their upcoming products for Microsoft Flight Simulator via their Facebook page. In this development update, they released a first look into the EFB for their 757 for MSFS. They shared an image of the cabin with the EFB on the side and commented on some features coming with it. BlueBird also answered some questions regarding the EFB in the comments of this Facebook post. In addition to the 757 news, the developer shared other news about the 767 in active development for MSFS.

First Look at the EFB for the 757

The 757 is BlueBird’s most anticipated aircraft coming to MSFS. Multiple previews of the aircraft have already been shared. In this new small development update, they revealed the EFB that is going to be shipped with this add-on. Like most EFBs in flight simulation, it is located on the left side of the cabin. The EFB will have SimBrief features integrated and menus to control the features of this aircraft. The user will be able to customize the interface of the EFB by changing the background image and much more according to a comment made by the developer in the post.

According to BlueBird, the EFB will be released with some of its features available like a performance calculator and the SimBrief integration. After the release of this add-on, they will add even more features to the EFB to turn it into “one of the best EFB’s on the market”. More features are in active development that the developer can’t show yet.

767 Development Update

The 767 for MSFS is BlueBird’s next project in active development behind the 757. In this development update, they announced that they started working on the flight model of this aircraft. Alongside the flight model, they are working on finishing the 3D model. The 3D model work was showcased in an image shared in this post. The 767 is expected to still be in development next year. The developer will showcase the aircraft with textures applied by early next year.

BlueBird confirmed that they aren’t going to announce a release date yet for the 757. They are still aiming to release this add-on by the end of the year. In October, BlueBird will announce more information about the release window of this aircraft.

According to a comment made by the developer in this Facebook post, the Xbox version of this add-on will be released separately from the PC release. In this comment, they also talked about how the Xbox version will be scaled down compared to the PC version.
