BlueBird Simulations Shares New 757 and 767 Development Screenshots and Announces Future Plans for the Year

A new year has begun, and developer BlueBird is back at work with news regarding their Microsoft Flight Simulator projects. The developer started the year with new screenshots from the development of the 757 and 767. They showcased their progress with the 757 freighter expansion (757-200SF) and shared brand new 767 screenshots from development. The RAT turbine from the 757 is also completed and shown in this update. Alongside the news from their add-ons, BlueBird shared their plans for this year, including a sneak peek of what to expect from the developer in FSExpo 2025.

New 757-200SF Preview

This new development update was shared via their social media. The developer shared screenshots of the work done in the last few months. These screenshots showcase the 757 freighter (757-200SF) 3D model they are working on. According to BlueBird, the 757 freighter will be released as an expansion after the release of the -200 and -300 passenger versions. The preview model comes with a FedEx livery with the cargo door slightly opened. The second screenshot showcases a withe model with no livery from a different angle. The 757 freighter is still in development with no screenshots inside the simulator shared by the development team.

Other screenshots shared by BlueBird in this update show the completed 757 RAT (Ram Air Turbine) 3D model. A new look at the 757 passenger cabin was also shared. Both 757 previews are shown with no textures in the development software. BlueBird also posted a new 767 teaser showcasing this aircraft’s cockpit progress.

What to Expect from BlueBird this Year ?

BlueBird confirmed in this post that a new video showcasing the 757 systems is going to be released in January. They are hard at work to be able to release the 757-200 and 757-300 for MSFS 2020. The 767 is also being worked on on a smaller scale compared to the 757. However, the developer also confirmed that more in-depth 767 previews will be shared during FSExpo 2025.

In the comment section of this update post on their Facebook page, they confirmed they are not posting new information regarding their 787 in the near future. This is because they want to focus on the 757 and 767 development. The developer will keep posting updates via their social media and Discord Server under the announcements sections.
