BlueBird Simulations Previews 757 With PW Engines

The BlueBird Simulations team has taken to their Facebook page to show a number of images of the Pratt & Whitney 2000 engine variant for their upcoming rendition of the Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The previews show the external model of 757-200 with the mentioned engine variant in landing and taxi configurations in the default BlueBird Simulations livery. The previews are taken in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. In one of the previews, we can also notice the PBR work done to this aircraft in combination with the Microsoft Flight Simulator’s lighting. In the reflections, individual panels, and a bit of wear and tear on them are clearly visible.

The team hasn’t spoken a lot about the aircraft recently. However, that should change during FSExpo 2025, which the BlueBird team is attending.

In the comments under the Facebook post, a number of questions from the community have arisen. This includes different configurations of the aircraft will be available, including the variant with no overwing exits and large exits in front of and behind the wings. BlueBird responded that this variant will also be available.

Some people also ask about the announced BlueBird 787 Dreamliner, which the team announced almost two years ago, and we haven’t heard of it much since. The team has confirmed that they have announced this aircraft a bit prematurely, but it is still in the works. However, most of the focus is currently on the 757 and the 767, and full team capacity won’t be on the 787 for quite some time.

Lastly, the community also asked for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 compatibility with this aircraft. However, BlueBird hasn’t responded to these comments just yet. It is likely that we find out more information about this during their presentation at FSExpo this weekend.
