The developer BlueBird Simulations, after a slight delay, released its highly anticipated Boeing 757-200 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024. The release comes after five long years of waiting, and we finally have the Flying Pencil available in Asobo’s flight simulator.
BlueBird Simulations promises a detailed rendition of this aircraft, with an accurate flight management system, more than 200 working circuit breakers and authentic CRT displays. If you are interested in failures, BlueBird Simulations has over 18 ATA chapters simulated, with which you can play around.

Speaking of the flight management system, the aircraft features a custom LNAV and VNAV implementation and ARINC 424 Navigation systems, with complex turn management and altitude constraints. Bleed air, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems are as realistic as they can get in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Moving over to the art and sound aspect of the aircraft, the BlueBird Simulations team worked closely with Boris Audioworks to implement a Wwise 3D audio architecture into this aircraft. The soundpack is multi-layered, simulating aerodynamic noise, cabin environment changes, and much more. The engines got their own proper sound proportions as well, including both the Pratt and Whitney PW2000 and the powerful RB211.

The aircraft is available now through the BlueBird Simulations page for approximately €71. The price may vary by region, as you will be charged in US Dollars ($80). BlueBird Simulations recommends running this aircraft on a system with at least Intel Core i7 6800K or AMD equivalent, 16 GB of RAM, an RTX 2080 or AMD equivalent and at least 8 gigabytes of VRAM. The aircraft uses 15 gigabytes of your storage. You can also read more about the development of this aircraft and future projects of BlueBird Simulations here.
