BlueSkyStar, a developer responsible for sound packs for Airbuses for Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 like FSLabs, FlightFactor or ToLiss, has shared some information about the development and product updates. Despite that they are making sound packs for Prepar3D and X-Plane 11, this update is mainly focused on the X-Plane 11 add-ons.
The information was shared in three different Facebook posts through their Facebook page. The first post talks about updating all the BSS products available. The developer also shared the roadmap for the updates. An update for the soundpack for A330 by Jardesign has already been pushed and is available to download. Currently, it is only available for those who bought it through BSS store. The sounds should work with the Vulkan API (X-Plane 11.50 beta). The main changes in this update are volumes, smooth window flow system, smooth engine volume transition at higher speeds (xlua needed) and more.
In the second Facebook post, the developer talks about the update of JarDesign A320 soundpack. Regarding the post, the completely new soundpack is 90% done and should be available soon. However, this new soundpack update is already available for their customers, who bought the soundback through BSS website. A clean install of JD 320 required. The update also adds Vulkan API compatibility, some volume fixes and more.
The last but not least, the third Facebook post, this is for the FlightFactor’s A320. This one is also available for those who have the soundpack bought through their website. For this to get working, you will have to update your FFA320 aircraft. This update also adds Vulkan API compatibility, this soundpack is completely new and it is comparable to the BSS ToLiss soundpack. The developer said that everything in this pack is new, including engine sounds, systems, environment, etc.
Even though all the updates are now available only for the BSS website customers, the updates will be available on the X-Plane.org store very soon.
