iniBuilds took to their Discord server to announce the release of BMWorld & AmSim’s rendition of Washington Dulles Airport (KIAD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The product is the thirteenth such collaboration between the two developers for the platform.
About Washington Dulles
Washington Dulles International Airport is an international airport in Loudoun County and Fairfax County in Northern Virginia, USA. It is located 26 miles west of downtown Washington, DC. The airport opened in 1962 has been named after John Foster Dulles, who was an influential US Secretary of State during the Cold War and briefly represented New York in the US Senate. The airport’s main terminal was designed by Eero Saarinen, the same architect who designed New York-JFK’s TWA Flight Center. Dulles Airport ranks 28th on the list of the busiest airports in the US. 60,000 passengers on average pass through the airport daily to and from more than 100 destinations across the world.
