Boris Audio Works released their sound set for the PMDG 737NG with Orbx as the retailer. It is designed to deliver a more authentic audio experience for virtual pilots flying the PMDG 737 series in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). Crafted with real-world recordings from Boeing 737NG aircraft, this sound package aims to replicate the aircraft’s classic audio charm more immersive.

Attention to Detail in Every Sound
The sound set includes audio from multiple perspectives for the cockpit, cabin, and exterior of the aircraft. From the distinct engine spool-up to the constant hum of different avionics, the package brings the subtle elements together. Operational sounds like switch toggles, button clicks, and hydraulic systems have also been recreated to enhance realism.
Customizable Options for User Preferences
The sound set offers customizable features: Users can (un-)select specific sounds, such as hydraulic pumps, or enable the active noise-canceling headset mode for a distraction-less flying experience. Additionally, ambient details like cabin chatters (crying babies not included) and environmental noises provide something against the loneliness during long-haul flights.
Affordable and Lightweight Installation
The Boris Audio Works PMDG 737NG Sound Set is priced at โฌ7.02 (USD $9.47). With a download size of under 100 MB and an installed size of roughly 400 MB, the pack is even suitable for flight simmers without big hard drives. The product be downloaded through the Orbx website and installed using Orbx Central, their installer.
