Boundless Announces London Stansted Airport for X-Plane 11

In a short post over at their Facebook Page, Boundless have teased that they are working on a new scenery project for X-Plane 11 and provided the community with a hint to guess the airport. The hint was, that the airport serves as a base of a major low-cost airline that operate over 100 routes from the airport.

It was rather quickly guessed by a community member, that the airport that was being hinted could be Stansted Airport (EGSS). This was confirmed by the developer later on.

There were two sets of previews provided by the developer in the following days and can be seen below showcasing the roads around the airport as well as the Stansted Express trains that will be animated.

As of right now, it is unknown when is the scenery going to be released, what is the price going to be, and what will the scenery offer from the technical side.

London Stansted Airport (EGSS) is one of international airports serving the capital of England and the United Kingdom, London. It serves as a hub for European biggest low-cost carrier, Ryanair. The airport annually sees almost 30 million passengers making it the fourth-busiest airport in the United Kingdom.
