Burning Blue Design Releases Damyns Hall for MSFS

Burning Blue Design’s Damyns Hall Aerodrome for MSFS is now available, featuring faithfully recreated area with high-resolution textures.

Burning Blue Design took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of Damyns Hall Aerodrome (EGML) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The rendition is their third Essex county scenery offering and 20th overall.

Burning Blue Design stated that the aerodrome has been faithfully recreated with on-site visits ensuring the highest level of accuracy, detail and realism with over 60 custom 3D objects each with full PBR textures, and is based on the latest 2023 layout for further accuracy regarding runways, taxiway layouts, and taxiway signage. Real-life aircraft present in the aerodrome are also rendered as static objects.

Damyns Hall Aerodrome is a general aviation airport primarily used for training and experience, located two miles south of Upminster, England. It is an unlicensed airfield, meaning scheduled commercial flights are prohibited, and training must take place in aircraft that meet certain weight criteria.

The aerodrome’s hangars house many vintage as well as many modern sport aircraft. A café with a garden viewing area is also situated on the aerodrome for the general public. Today, the aerodrome hosts The Skymax Wing Walkers, London Airsports Flying School, and the famed ‘Tiger Club’ as well as the electronic music festival ‘We Are FSTVL’ every summer.

Damyns Hall Aerodrome (EGML) is available for purchase on Burning Blue Design’s website for £10.95 GBP. A release on the Orbx store is coming soon with the in-game Marketplace release coming later.
