Together with World Update 21: Australia, the Microsoft team, in cooperation with iniBuilds, has released an Australian local legend for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The 24th Local Legend brings the CAC Boomerang to life in the simulator world.
Developed by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC), an Australian company, the Boomerang, developed throughout World War II, is the only fighter completely assembled in Australia. CAC has also been producing other planes, such as the Wirraway. The Boomerang then entered service in 1943, and a total of 250 units were built.

The Boomerang is known for its screaming howl, created by the air passing through the gun ports. Pratt & Whitney R-1830 radial engine powered the bird, and could fly as fast as 500 kilometres per hour, it had a range of 1700 kilometres, and could fly to a maximum altitude of 29 000 feet.
Unfortunately, no full feature list has been shared of this aircraft. However, if you are interested in flying this warbird from the land down under, you can purchase it from the in-sim marketplace for €14.99.
