Carenado Releases B200 for MSFS 2024

Carenado releases the B200 for MSFS 2024, bringing a detailed and versatile turboprop to the in-sim Marketplace with advanced systems and immersive features.

Carenado has announced the release of its B200 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, now available through the in-sim Marketplace. Known as one of the most respected turboprops in aviation, the Beechcraft King Air B200 has built a long-standing reputation for its balance of performance, reliability, and operational flexibility.

With this release, Carenado brings the aircraft into MSFS 2024 with a focus on preserving its distinctive characteristics while introducing refinements tailored to modern simulation standards. The result is a detailed recreation that aims to capture both the handling and overall experience of this iconic aircraft.

The B200 features a twin-engine turboprop configuration powered by Pratt & Whitney engines, offering a range of approximately 1,500–1,700 nautical miles. It is capable of reaching a service ceiling of 35,000 feet and climbing at over 2,000 feet per minute. Cruise speeds typically range between 270 and 290 knots, with maximum speeds approaching 300 knots, making it suitable for a wide variety of missions.

Carenado has also integrated its RealXperience features, adding subtle effects such as instrument vibration, panel movement, and startup behavior to enhance immersion. Additional systems include an operational circuit breaker panel and emergency landing gear extension.

The package includes eight liveries plus one additional white variant, along with two aircraft configurations designed for VIP transport and Medevac operations. It is also fully compatible with MSFS 2024’s career mode, supporting both VIP Charter Service and medical missions.
