Carenado Releases WYMF-5 for MSFS

Software developer, Carenado, have taken to social media to announce the release of the iconic biplane, the Waco YMF-5, for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Software developer, Carenado, have taken to social media to announce the release of the iconic biplane, the Waco YMF-5, for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Featuring realistic flight dynamics, including weight and balance, and real engine sounds and wind effects, the WYMF-5 has been modelled in high detail with PBR textures and materials. Comes with the usual Ceranado tablet interface that controls static elements, and provides starting options.

This aircraft can be bought and downloaded via the in game marketplace, priced at EUR 14.57.

The Waco YMF-5 is a timeless classic, originally conceived in the 1930’s. Models made today pay homage to that original bi-plane design, though with added modern features. It comes with a Jacobs R755A2 engine that produces 300 horsepower allowing the plane to cruise at a speed of 115 MPH, and giving a stall speed of 59 MPH.
