Cessna C182RG II Released by Carenado

Carenado has teased us with the release of their newest product for MSFS for a few weeks now, but the wait is now over. The team took to their Facebook page today to announce the release of their Cessna C182RG II addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Whilst Carenado is no stranger to the Cessna fleet having released aircraft from a C170 to a C441, this is the first time that they have released a Cessna C182 RG. Whilst not very different from their C172RG, the Cessna 182 fleet has bigger engines plus better climbing performance to get into and out of those tighter areas.

Whilst the Cessna is offered in both a turbo and non-turbo configuration, Carenado has released theirs as a steam gauge, non-turbo engine. With the C182 being an upgrade to the older C172 design, Carenado has done an amazing job at making sure the aircraft performs better than its predecessor.

Carenado’s release includes eight different liveries plus an additional white livery. With a GNS 530 and the option to expand to a more modern touch screen, this aircraft is the perfect GA cross-country aircraft, which is also helped by Carenado including an autopilot.

For simmers keen to try the C182, it is available in the in-game store for $19.99.
