A small Czech developer, Chudoba Design, widely known for his X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator sceneries, released Marsa Matruh Airport (HEMM) for the Laminar Research platform. Chudoba Design announced this release through his Discord server.

Marsa Matruh Airport is an international airport located in northwestern Egypt. It is a fairly new destination, as the airport operates since 2011. There are not many routes as of right now from this airport. However, during the summer season, flight simulation enthusiasts can enjoy flights there from Rome, Verona, Katowice and Prague.

Filip Chudoba, the head behind Chudoba Design and the only developer the company currently has, created a detailed depiction of this airport. This scenery offers PBR textures, custom 3D vegetation, custom ortho imagery for the surrounding area, as well as curved ground poly. Furthermore, there are custom buildings and objects, making the scenery look and feel as realistic as possible.
