Chudoba Design Releases Jeju Airport for X-Plane 11/12

Chudoba Design recently announced on their Facebook page the release of their new scenery for X-Plane 11 and 12. This time, the developer takes us to the island of Jeju in South Korea with their rendition of Jeju Airport (ICAO: RKPC). This airport is the biggest and busiest on the island, having the world’s busiest airline route between Jeju and Seoul. Being a holiday spot for Asian tourists, it sees a lot of movement. In 2019, over 26 million passengers used this airport. It is also gaining popularity among American and European tourists as a destination.

About Jeju Airport

Opened in 1968, Jeju Airport serves the city and province of the same name. Currently is the second largest airport in South Korea behind Incheon Airport near Seoul. It operates multiple domestic and international routes, including destinations in mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. This airport serves as the hub for Jeju Air, with other airlines such as Air Busan, Asiana Airlines, and Korean Air also operating here.

Features Included With This Scenery

Chudoba Design has shared the features that are included in this scenery. The development team has incorporated custom buildings and objects with PBR textures to faithfully recreate those found at the real airport. Custom 3D vegetation can also be found around the airport. This add-on has been optimized for optimal performance, with an integrated scenery animation manager.
