Skyward Simulations has officially released the Citation Sovereign+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The aircraft is now available through Orbx Direct and brings a highly detailed recreation of Cessna’s popular midsize business jet, with a strong focus on system depth, flight model accuracy, and real-world operational behavior.
Developed using real-world references and tested by CE-680 pilots and technicians, the add-on features a custom Garmin G5000 avionics suite, advanced aircraft systems, and a flight model refined to accurately represent the Sovereign+ throughout all phases of flight. According to the developer, extensive research and pilot feedback were used throughout development to ensure a high level of realism.
The aircraft includes a fully interactive cockpit, detailed interior and exterior modelling, custom FADEC logic, advanced hydraulic and fuel systems, realistic anti-ice and environmental systems, as well as a comprehensive Crew Alerting System (CAS). One of the standout features is its highly detailed electrical system, which simulates dozens of buses, relays, transformers, and hundreds of electrical circuits. Some of these advanced electrical features are exclusive to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Skyward Simulations has also integrated a feature-rich Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), offering SimBrief and Navigraph support, weight and balance management, aircraft state controls, and access to more than 300 checklists based on the real-world aircraft documentation. Additional features include ACARS and CPDLC functionality for PC users, D-ATIS support, text NOTAM integration, and authentic sounds recorded from the real aircraft by Boris Audioworks.
The Citation Sovereign+ is now available through Orbx Direct for AUD $50.64, approximately USD $36.15, €31.05, or £26.84.
