Asobo, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator, have released a new city update. Using the latest available data, this new update focuses on improving five cities in the United States. City Update 10 also marks the first update of this kind for MSFS 2024. The cities that were improved in this update are: Dallas, Fort Worth, Denver, San Francisco, and Honolulu.
Dallas and Fort Worth
Located in Texas, the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex area is the most populated region in this state. This area acts as a hub for multiple industries, with a lot of landmarks available to explore inside MSFS. You are mainly going to be on the lookout for skyscrapers like the 777 Main Street in Fort Worth, the Fountain Palace in Dallas or giant stadiums like AT&T Stadium.

Denver
Also known as “Mile High City”, Denver is located near the Rocky Mountains in the state of Colorado. This city is also a very populous area featuring a skyline set against the mountains and large plains. Some of the landmarks you are going to encounter in this new version of Denver are skyscrapers like Republic Plaza or the Rocky Mountain National Park.

San Francisco
This city is located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Once you pass the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, you are welcomed to an enormous city featuring skyscrapers and multiple landmarks to visit. You can fly over the bay around the city to take on the views, or you can visit the famous Alcatraz Island.

Honolulu
The island of Oahu in Hawaii features the biggest city of these islands. Honolulu, or “sheltered port” in Hawaiian, offers a tropical setting and massive urban areas filled with landmarks. You can visit an extinct volcano, big mountains, or simply the skyline of Honolulu.

Asobo also released a promotional video of this new update. It features all the different areas and landmarks that this update brings to the simulator. From urban to natural areas, you can explore everything around the cities included in this update. City Update 10: United States I is now available to download at the Marketplace for both simulators. The developer warned that both MSFS 2020 and 2024 have to be fully updated so that the new content can work properly.
