Clark International by CloudSurf Asia Simulations Released for MSFS

CloudSurf Asia Simulations took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of Clark International Airport (RPLC) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer also announced that an X-Plane 12 version of the airport is also in development.

About Clark International Airport

Clark International Airport (RPLC), also known as Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, is an international airport covering portions of the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat within the Clark Freeport Zone in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. It is located 80 kilometers northwest of Manila. It was established by the United States Cavalry in 1902 as Fort Stotsenburg which was later partly converted into an airfield, which was, in turn, renamed Clark Air Field in 1919. The airport was one of the most important overseas bases during World War 2.

Key Features

CloudSurf Asia Simulations has custom-built Clark International from scratch for MSFS with full custom objects specifically modeled for RPLC. The team has also fully modeled the interior and exterior of the new terminal 2, along with high-definition hangar modeling and texturing. All 3D models of the airport rendition feature PBR texturing and custom-animated jetways specifically modeled for RPLC to maximize simmer immersion.

The nearby OMNI Airfield has also been modeled and has been included along with other notable structures around it. The airport is also VATSIM ready with up-to-date airport data referencing the latest charts.
