DC Designs Concorde Development Update

DC Designs has recently come to their Facebook page to post a development update regarding their rendition of the Concorde for all current flight simulators except X-Plane 11.

Based on the post, the aircraft development of the Prepar3D and FSX versions is now complete after almost five months of development. While originally the aircraft was developed for Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D, DC Design is now also working on converting the aircraft to the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The aircraft files have been sent to Just Flight, the publisher, and so the release should follow soon. The package of both Prepar3D and FSX variant will be available. The exact pricing model is unknown, but it is clear, that DC Design does not want the price to be high. At most, it should be 30 GBP.

DC Designs has confirmed, that the Microsoft Flight Simulator version should be released by Christmas, but couldn’t guarantee it.

Keep in mind, that DC Design is not aiming for study level aircraft and many systems in the aircraft are very much simplified. Based on the words of the developer, the aircraft will not reach the level of FSLabs Concorde.

The developer will now, after long development, take a few days off. After that, we can expect updates for the Super Hornets package, and conversion of all DC Designs products to the new simulator.
