Departure Designs Oakland v1.5 Coming Out Soon (XP11)

Departure Designs has announced that their updated version of Oakland international airport (KOAK) for X-Plane 11 is coming out very soon. Together with this information, the developer shared two new previews of this updated scenery.

In the previews, we can mainly see the ground textures, which were changed with brand new commercial 6inch per pixel satellite imagery. However, this new imagery is not the only thing to be changed. There are some fixes as well, like the issue with UFOs near mountains, there’s improved night lighting, new animated BART (BART trains) and there is also a low-spec version for slower computers available.

The developer is also working on this scenery to be compatible with the upcoming MSFS20 simulator, everyone who owns XP11 copy of this scenery will have MSFS20 one completely for free.
