Dfflyer Direct has released its latest add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Known for numerous city enhancement packs, the Pittsburgh City and Bridges pack enhances the Pittsburgh area by hand-modelling local buildings and bridges.

Dfflyer Direct’s Pittsburgh City and Bridges

The Pittsburgh City and Bridges pack brings Pittsburgh to life with over 100 handcrafted buildings, bridges, monuments, night lighting, animation, and many ground texture improvements. The add-on was based on a visit by the developer back in 2023, which they wanted to recreate in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is the first full enhancement for Pittsburgh City in MSFS.

Featuring 120+ handcrafted buildings and 21 bridges down the Ohio, Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, Dfflyer Direct has brought the city up to very high standards using accurate and up-to-date knowledge of Pittsburgh. It also includes 3 highly detailed stadiums, including the PPG Paints Arena, PNC Park and the Acrisure Stadium.

Nine handcrafted marinas with custom boats, photogrammetry, and a clean-up of the surrounding water also bring the area to life. The entire city is enhanced with immersive night lighting and lots of signage. The whole pack includes high-quality PBR textures to accompany the handcrafted models. Dfflyer Direct have optimised the pack with multiple LODs (Level Of Detail) for better performance.

You can purchase Dfflyer Direct’s Pittsburgh City and Bridges Pack on the Dfflyer Direct Store for $9.99. Alternatively, you can find the add-on on simMarket. For more up-to-date flight simulation news, check out the rest of FSNews.
