Ed Correia from Orbx Joins Parallel 42

Developer Ed Correia joined the Parallel 42 team recently after being made redundant from Orbx. At Parallel 42, he became Head of Operations. The developer’s blog shared information about this.

Correia was responsible for many Orbx products for Prepar3D and his name is mentioned in two products currently available at the Orbx Direct Store. This includes the Australian Wollongong Airport and San Carlos Airport in the United States.

He was mostly known for publishing official update posts via the Orbx Forums, was the front-end guy communicating with the community, and was one of the leading members of the Orbx team from the start.

Unfortunately, he was made redundant from Orbx back in November 2023, and back then Edson already mentioned in the now-deleted Orbx forum post that Ed Correia also influenced the journey of Parallel 42. This shows that Ed Correia joining Parallel 42 was just a matter of time.

Edson Soriano from Parallel 42 states that he feels that Ed’s experience and personal connections make him the perfect fit for the developer’s shift to 2025.

He also mentions that Ed Correia is also going to assist with business development discussions and day-to-day operations.
