ELEVATEX, a new development team emerging in the flight simulation community, has recently announced details about its upcoming flight-tracking project. The program, designed to be free and compatible with all simulators, aims to provide users with useful insights about their flights, enhancing the overall flying experience.
Environmental Impacts and Real Aircraft Database
ELEVATEX revealed that the program will calculate the users’ environmental impact for each flight, including metrics such as CO2 emissions, fuel burned, CO2 reductions, and fuel saved. These calculations will account for factors such as tailwinds, headwinds, and single-engine taxiing, among others, encouraging users to adopt real-life fuel-saving practices in their flights.
In addition, the software will include a handcrafted real aircraft database. A dedicated team of editors will ensure each airline’s aircraft information remains up-to-date and accurate. The database will grow as more data is collected, and the program will allow users to store their favorite planes in their hangar.

Position Updates and VATSIM ATC Boundaries
The software will provide 1-second position updates, enabling users to view precise location data for their aircraft. Additionally, ELEVATEX has announced that the software will reflect the real VATSIM TRACON/Approach ATC boundaries, enabling VATSIM users to choose the best location for their next flight.

Flight Briefing Panel
Integrating with Simbrief, the most popular flight planning software for flight simulators, ELEVATEX’s program will display essential flight plan details, including weather, departure and arrival airports, and the Simbrief OFP. The users may switch between tabs to access the specific information they need.
Closing Notes
In conclusion, ELEVATEX is taking a significant step with its new flight-tracking software. According to the developers, the core functions of the software will remain free for all of its users. Optional premium features will also be available, such as 4K image uploads or custom badges. If you’d like to view the original announcements, you can do so at ELEVATEX’s Discord server.
