Final Approach Design Studios took to their Discord server to announce the release of their rendition of Sylhet Osmani International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to the developers, they aim to create next-generation scenery products for MSFS, X-Plane, and Prepar3D.
About Sylhet International Airport
Located in Sylhet, Bangladesh, Osmani International Airport (VGSY) is the third-largest airport in the country. It is operated by the CAA and is served mostly by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national airline. It is located 5 miles northeast of Sylhet City and operates domestic, international, and cargo flights. It has a 10,236ft runway with just one main terminal for all flights.
Its primary airlines are Air Astra, Novoair, US-Bangla Airlines, and Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The only airline which operates international flights is the national airline. Dhaka, Bangladesh is the only airport served by the other airlines operating out of Osmani International. SkyAir is the airport’s only cargo airline operating from this airport.

The night lighting has also been recreated to represent its real-life counterpart, featuring vivid night lighting, custom dynamic lighting, and ramp light effects that also have realistic flares. The lighting adds to the realistic night textures, which have also been recreated.
The terminal interiors have also been recreated with detailed 3D buildings, animated jetways, and accurate parking. Static vehicles and GSE have been added to the ramp to mimic the airport’s real-life operations. To make the airport feel more lively, it also supports AI traffic so you are not alone on the ground.
