Flight Panels Release Statement Regarding MSFS 2024 Compatibility

Flight Panels have released a statement talking about future compatibility for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Flight Panels is a team of developers who create a series of “panels” for the Stream Deck product line. This allows you to interact with the cockpit using a Stream Deck without needing to move around the cockpit with your mouse.

Flight Panels 2024 Release Strategy

Compatibility for MSFS 2024 is expected to continue to roll out during the course of November after day one release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This includes all of their products as well as new updates and a new installer.

You can find the progress of compatibility updates via their website here. This tells us that they expect the migration tool for their panels to be in beta by November 20th, a day after the 2024 simulator release. Updated products and a new installer for managing both 2020 and 2024 will also follow.

Flight Panels expect updates to be submitted and released on third-party sites by November 21st for SimMarket and November 22nd for Flightsim.to. These will be the final updates needed to fully convert their existing products over to the new simulator.

There has been no specific information regarding new product releases for Flight Panels and when we can expect them. It has also been noted that the third-party sites may take up to a week to publish the new updates submitted by Flight Panels.

The migration tool will be released in beta on November 20th here on their website. That is everything mentioned during the compatibility update. For other flight simulator-related news, check out the rest of FSNews.
