Flight Sim Development Group Releases New Freeware Maldives Scenery For MSFS

As Flight Sim Development Group is working on Maldives sceneries, they have released an ‘appetizer’ by releasing the Haa Alifu Atoll scenery for MSFS. The Haa Ailfu Attol is the northernmost atoll of the Maldives. The whole atoll has 43 islands, of which 14 are inhabited and 29 are not.

The main airport of this region is the newly built Hoarafushi Airport (VRAH), which provides connections to Male. The aircraft that can be mostly seen there is the ATR; however, sometimes, Dash 8 also visits this place. The developer added this airport to the add-on, including some ground vehicles and workers.

There’s a luxurious five-star VIP resort located in the Haa Alifu Atoll. Seaplanes from Trans Maldivian Airways land on the water, transporting affluent tourists to the small island. Upon arrival, they check into beach bungalows or water villas. FSDG gives us this opportunity to immerse in VIP sea taxi service, often spotted in the Maldives, by adding many bungalows and resort piers, allowing us to deboard passengers.

In the screenshots, we can also see a structure with a tower. It has no name. However, it might be an Old Friday Mosque located in Ihavandhoo, one of the Haa Ailfu Atoll islands, with a small minaret, all made from coral stone.

Flight Sim Development Group Haa Alifu Atoll scenery is freeware. You can download it on the FSDG website. If you want to experience the Maldivian sun and perform real-life operations, make sure to check out the ATR from Asobo, which has recently been updated.
