FlightBeam Studios have taken to social media to give a small preview of their forthcoming release of Washington Dulles International Airport, for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Very few details have been given, apart from a suggestion they are responding to feedback, and are implementing higher quality surroundings that make use of the new simulator’s graphic capabilities.
The developers say it is an improvement on the previous versions of KIAD, made available for Prepar3D. That version had high definition textures, realistic windows and reflections, realistic lighting, and so much more. If the Microsoft Flight Simulator version is as improved as they say, then expectations are high.
Washington Dulles International Airport is one of two that serves the Washington metropolitan area. It consists of a main terminal, and two parallel midfield terminal buildings. Under normal circumstances, more than 60,000 passengers use Washington Dulles every day.
As yet, no details on pricing, or release date, have been given for this addon.
