FlightFX Announces HJet 24 for MSFS 2024

FlightFX announces the HJet 24 for MSFS 2024 with rebuilt flight dynamics, upgraded systems, improved visuals, and a free upgrade for 2020 owners.

FlightFX has officially announced the upcoming release of the HJet 24 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing a heavily revised version of the popular very light jet to the new platform. Building upon the foundation of the Marwan Gharib HJET for MSFS 2020, this updated edition introduces extensive refinements across flight dynamics, systems, visuals, and overall immersion.

The HJet 24 features a completely rebuilt flight model, alongside reworked ground handling and suspension physics. According to FlightFX, these changes aim to deliver more realistic aircraft behavior both in the air and on the ground. Automation systems have also received significant attention, including an improved autopilot logic with smoother transitions and enforced G limits, as well as a rebuilt autothrottle system designed for better anticipation and smoothness.

From a systems standpoint, the aircraft introduces a custom Vertical Situation Display (VSD) with terrain-aware elevation rendering. The avionics backend has been updated to the Working Title V2 framework, alongside an updated Navigraph Charts integration designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Visually, the HJet 24 includes a complete cockpit remodel and a brand-new cabin interior, both making use of native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 materials and shaders. Additional immersion features include interactive cabin elements, passenger avatars integrated with the VAMS tablet, and full support for MSFS 2024’s walk-around functionality. Audio has also been upgraded, with a new soundscape produced by Echo 19, covering engine sounds, ground roll effects, and cockpit ambience.

One of the most notable highlights of the announcement is that all previous customers of the Marwan Gharib HJet for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will receive a free upgrade, a decision that will certainly be welcomed by existing users of the aircraft. The FlightFX HJet 24 is scheduled for release on February 19th, 2026, priced at 24.99 USD. The aircraft is expected to be available through multiple stores, including the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Marketplace.
