Simulator pilots who have been waiting for the release of FlightFX’s replication of the Cessna Citation C750 finally got some good news Thursday. The development team finally revealed not just a release date for the addon, but details as to what the aircraft will include upon release.

The C750, originally unveiled to the world in 1990, is known for handling up to 51,000 feet and Mach .92. It offers some of the best performance and comfort for both crews and passengers. To this day, it’s known as the world’s fastest business jet on the market.
In an update shared on the FlightFX website, the developers shared that the product is set for a July 10th release. It’s also worth noting that the addon will be exclusively launching on the Marketplace. Upon release, as with many past FlightFX addons, users can expect to see a large swath of details and features.

FlightFX noted a flight model featuring full VNAV across climb, cruise and descent, a custom FADEC with optional VNAV-coupled auto-throttle, and variants of the aircraft with and without winglets. Alongside the flight model, the team has also been developing highly-detailed systems, from pressurization and ice systems to engine sync and IRS simulation. There will also be an EFB included on day one, featuring Navigraph and OpenStreetMap integration, a SimBrief-linked load manager, ground services, and much more.
Likewise, the team shared that the C750 will include a custom sound set recorded onsite in California, including real APU, engine, mechanical, chime and cabin interaction sounds. The aircraft also has volumetric lighting, realistic clutter and interactive cabin details, and an enhanced interior and exterior model.

FlightFX’s newest addon will be available for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 via the marketplace for $29.99 USD. Those wishing to keep up-to-date should check out the team’s Discord for more previews and updates.
