Flightsim Awards 2025 Announced as Community Voting Opens

The Flightsim Awards 2025, organized by cruiselevel.de, FSElite, and Threshold, honor the best flight sim add-ons of 2024. Voting is open.

The flight simulation community is known for its passion for creating 3rd party content, with more or less professional developers and fans constantly improving the virtual flying experience. To honor these efforts, the Flightsim Awards 2025 have been introduced and organized by cruiselevel.de, FSElite, and Threshold. With FSWeekend as a partner, these awards aim to recognize the best add-ons in flight simulation from the past year.
For a long time, the flight sim community has lacked a more formal way to showcase the hard work of developers and creators. The Flightsim Awards 2025 aim to change that by highlighting the most outstanding add-ons and content released in 2024.

How It Works

The awards process aims to be simple: The teams behind cruiselevel.de, FSElite, and Threshold have already selected their top add-ons from 2024. Both the community and an expert jury from the team will each have 50% of the vote. Voting uses a point system: the top choice in each category gets 5 points, the second gets 4 points, and so on.
Thereโ€™s also a special Content Creator Award, which is entirely decided by the community. Instead of a shortlist, simmers can vote for their favorite creator directly.

The flight sim community is set to play a big role in these awards. Voting is open now and will have its final call on February 28, 2025. You can vote at flightsim-awards.com to help choose the winners.

Awards Ceremony at FSWeekend

The winners will be announced live at the so-called Captainโ€™s Dinner during FSWeekend on March 14, 2025. If you canโ€™t attend in person, you can watch the ceremony via a global livestream.

The Flightsim Awards 2025 are just the start. The organizers plan to improve and expand the awards in the coming years, with even more community involvement.
