FlightSimExpo 2023 Dates and Location Announced

Through a press release, Evan and Phil from Flight Simulation Association and FlightSimExpo have announced details of the upcoming FSExpo 2023. Last time, FSExpo was held in San Diego in September 2021 and it was the first time you could attend the event online as well as in-person.

In 2023, FSExpo will be held in Houston, Texas between June 23rd and 25th. To be a little more precise, the team has specified that they have prearranged the local flight museum at Ellington Airport (KEFD).

The area is one of America’s largest aerospace hubs: Houston is a hub for two major airlines, NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Space Center Houston, and more. As in past years, discounts on hotels, airfare, rental cars, and more will be available to attendees.

The museum is home to a number of historical aircraft, the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame and learning exhibits, which as Evan and Phil explained, is the perfect backdrop for the exhibit floor. It is only a 35-minute drive from Houston’s international airport and 15 minutes from nearby attendee hotels.

Additionally, it is for the first time that attendees will be able to fly their own aircraft to the event, landing at the Ellington Airport (KEFD) – the same airport where the event is held at.

Up to 2,000 attendees will be able to move across two air-conditioned hangars.

Save the dates, start thinking of plans, but please don’t lock your travel in just yet,” says Evan from FlightSimExpo. “As always, we are working with area hotels, airlines, rental car options, and attractions to secure discounted rates for our attendees. We’re expecting awesome, add-on experiences at NASA, air traffic control facilities, and more – and you’ll want to have that full picture before you start booking.”.

The press release did not say anything about the ticket prices and exhibitor list. The team has decided to again offer to participate either in-person or online, presumably with the online tickets again cheaper. Registrations should open in December 2022.
