FliteSim.com Unveils RemoteYokeSync Feature for Shared Cockpit Simulation

FliteSim.com, a Singapore-based company specialising in affordable, high-performance Force Feedback hardware, has unveiled a new feature for their yokes. FliteSim.com has now successfully tested its “breakthrough” new feature, RemoteYokeSync.

RemoteYokeSync will be compatible with the company’s two flagship Force Feedback yokes, the CLS-120 and CLS-60. FliteSim.com says this new technology allows two users to synchronise their yoke movements in real time over the internet. The technology will bridge the gap between shared cockpit users by bringing them that extra bit of realism into their simulators.

The technology will let users “feel” each other’s inputs with full Force Feedback. FliteSim.com provided an example of a pilot in Singapore applying right aileron, which would be felt by the other user in New York with the same mirrored input. The system is said to perform reliably with latencies under 30ms. This low-latency requirement provides all users with a responsive and accurate mirrored input.

RemoteYokeSync will come as a free software upgrade to all existing CLS-60 and CLS-120 customers in the coming weeks. A demo of this technology will be shared at FSExpo 2025. FSExpo weekend will also be covered in full, here on FSNews.
