FlyByWire, a well-known development team standing behind an open-source A32NX mod for the default Airbus A320 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has today taken to their social networks to officially announce the development of an Airbus A380 for the same simulator.
We are proud to announce we will be developing a freeware A380 for MSFS, built from scratch. It is currently in the early stages of modeling, but its development will not affect progress on the A32NX whatsoever.

The development is currently in the early stages of modelling. It has been made clear, that this will not affect the development of the A32NX mod at all. There was not much information shared, but the developers will be answering questions in the next episode of “In The Hangar”, a live stream happening every month.
