FlyJSim Releases New Q4XP Patch Exclusive for X-Plane 12

 

FlyJSim released a new update for their Dash-8 Q400 add-on for X-Plane. This patch only applies to the X-Plane 12 version of this add-on. Version 1.38.2 of Q4XP brings new features and fixes to this aircraft. All the new features introduced in this update affect the UNS flight computer. Multiple bug fixes and corrections were also released in this update.

Version 1.38.2 Features and Fixes

Some of the new additions in this patch include numerous improvements to the UNS flight computer and the aircraft. You now have new flight computer functionalities, like Selected Crosstrack. FlyJSim also released new features for the aircraft, like the ability to save flight plans to a .fms file and a power failure auto-resume option. You can access these features via the UNS flight computer. New quality of life improvements were introduced in this update as well.

FlyJSim also took the opportunity to fix some issues with the aircraft in this update. Many crash-to-desktop (CTD) scenarios were fixed. Errors and bugs regarding instruments and systems were corrected. Systems affected by these changes are: Procedure Turns, V and L NAV, altitude preselector, etc…. Other minor fixes were introduced, like CDU showing incorrect colors or fly-over waypoints being incorrectly marked.
