FLYT Updates on its Projects

The Brazilian developer FLYT has just provided us with an update about its current production. Through its Facebook page, the developer mentioned various projects that are currently in progress. Some of them include the C16 Frasca Field, Alfonso Pena Airport (SBCT), and the Enhanced Runway Lights addon.

Airports Receiving a Quality-of-Life Update

C16 Frasca Field, a privately owned airport in the United States, has received a Quality-of-Life (QoL) update, which includes new vehicles, enhanced vegetation, and better compatibility with MSFS 2024. SBJE Jericoacoara and SIBH Helicidade have received QoL improvements for MSFS 2024 compatibility as well.

Native Versions of All Products

The developer stated that it is working on the native versions of all of its products for MSFS 2024. The native versions will feature new LODs, walk-around compatible collisions, new models, and level design improvements, which aim to elevate the playability and realism. Additionally, progress is being made on Afonso Pena Airport (SBCT), located in Curitiba, Brazil.

Enhanced Runway Lights Addon

The Enhanced Runway Lights addon has been fully implemented natively for MSFS 2024. Even though the product is fully finished, the simulator’s lighting system does not yet support VFX effects or dynamic lights. According to Asobo, responsible for Microsoft Flight Simulator, a fix is expected to arrive soon, which will allow FLYT to finally release it natively for MSFS 2024. In the meantime, the developer clarifies that users can still use it in compatibility mode, enjoying all it has to offer.

Closing Notes

In conclusion, FLYT is taking large steps in terms of development focused on MSFS 2024. Even though the simulator, as of now, has limitations, the team is continuing to look forward to releasing quality products for Asobo’s latest release. The developer reminds all its current customers that all upgrades and updates are free of charge. Our latest news can be found here, do not hesitate to check them out.
